Recommendations for COBOL for PeopleTools 8.62.x

Hi,

We are currently running PeopleTools 8.62.08 with COBOL 9 in our environment. As part of our upcoming server upgrade, we will continue to remain on PeopleTools 8.62.08.

Oracle’s certification matrix supports COBOL 7, COBOL 9, and COBOL 11 for this PeopleTools release. As we prepare the new servers, could you please advise which COBOL version we should install—COBOL 9 or COBOL 11?

Any recommendations or best‑practice guidance would be greatly appreciated.
