Question regarding BI Publisher Outputs

Hi All,

I have configured the RTF template with Excel Output in EBS 12.2.1.0. When I run the XML Publisher Program and I go for View Output, the output opens in browser and renders as an HTML.

Can someone please assist why this is so. The BI Publisher version is 10.1.3.4.2. Please note same template configured with Output as PDF works successfully and downloads as PDF.
