PUM on Container (FS/SCM) for Windows

in PeopleTools and Lifecycle Management - PSFT (MOSC) Question

PeopleSoft Tools 8.63.07, Windows 2025, PeopleSoft FS/SCM 9.2 .55

TLDR: will oracle be providing full support for deploying containers (e.g., PUM) on windows/wsl?

  1. Oracle is now offering FS/SCM PUM via containers (podman)
  2. One of the selling points of containers is that you can deploy them on different OS and get the same result (that's what a container is)
  3. Podman is supported on Windows w/ WSL
  4. Oracle support informed us that they don't have instructions for how to deploy a container PUM on windows (we ran into some issues and opened a ticket)
