Thank you to everyone for your passion, collaboration, and support. Here’s to building an even stronger community together in the year ahead!
Season’s greetings to you and yours! As we head into the holidays (December 24 – January 4), we want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible strength and collaboration within our community. Even during the break, you can continue to benefit from connecting with peers, searching related threads, posting your questions, and marking helpful replies as “Accepted” in the Support Community.
Please note our dedicated team will be on reduced coverage during this time, and regular responsiveness will resume on January 5. Wishing you a joyful and restful holiday season!

NSC | SuiteCommerce Extensions
Before the release of SuiteCommerce Advanced Aconcagua, customizations to the web store are done using the Set Up SCA Developer Tools. This tool allows the user to customize the application directly to the SuiteCommerce bundle/SSP Application. However, customizations done directly to the bundle requires strict maintenance as they need to be compatible with every update of the NetSuite core application. Additionally, when updating the SuiteCommerce bundle's version, the customizations are needed to be applied and tested once again on the new bundle — this creates a vicious cycle of updating and reapplying customizations.
To address these difficulties, NetSuite has introduced a new way of customizing or extending (adding features) to SuiteCommerce Web Stores -- this is through the use of Commerce Extensions.
