Warranty and Repairs Does Not Support Advanced Bill of Materials

I was reviewing the "standard" Suite App for Warranty and right in the help, it states this:  The SuiteApp does not currently support the Advanced Bill of Materials (BOM) feature. Some functions of the SuiteApp may not work as designed when the feature is enabled. 

Sounds if this is one known issue, I'm not sure if there are others:

Inability to Add a Repaired Item After Enabling Advanced Bill of Materials Feature: The Selected Item Not Defined as a Repaired Item
