selling assembly items in your web site

edited Sep 8, 2021 10:41PM in General 8 comments

Some questions about assembly items, assembly matrix items, and the phantom assembly option.

  1. Can assembly items be sold via our web store? Another thread said "yes".. but just confirming since i can't seem to make them work in our store.
  2. Do you have to build them first before they'll add to the cart? If so, how can we avoid that ...like, build them on the fly after they're ordered. Is that something we need phantom assemblies for?
  3. We want them built on the fly. Actually, we don't ever want to address building the items if possible, but rather just have them reduce inventory of their components as they're fulfilled. Is that possible? They'd almost perform like a matrix of kits.

Howdy, Stranger!
