NSC | List of Assembly Items without any BOM

Scenario

User is trying to create a Saved Search that will list Assembly items that does not have a Bill of Material Linked to it.

If the user adds the field "Assembly Item Bill of Materials: Bill of Materials" to the Results tab of an Item Saved Search, the assembly items with no BOM does not appear in the search.

There is an existing enhancement related to this behavior:

  • Enhancement # 643878: Searches > Item > Criteria > Assembly Item Bill of Materials Fields: Bill of Materials > is None : To have the ability to show Assembly Items that do not have BOM


Workaround

As an alternate solution, you can create 2 saved searches:
