SuiteCommerce Advanced, Avalara and Promotion Code
SuiteCommerce Advanced (SCA) and Avalara calculate tax properly without Promo codes.
The challenge comes when we try to use a Promo.
Example within checkout:
One item for $99 has tax of $8.17. If we add a promo code for 50% off the tax should go to $4.09.
The tax does NOT go to $4.09, it remains at $8.17.
If we change the quantity from 1 to 2, the tax goes to $0.
If we checkout, the customers card is charged the correct tax amount and the SO has the correct tax in the NetSuite UI.
Images below explain the issue.
Thank you in advance for any thoughts,
Bill
