NSC | How to Apply the General Preference "Maximum Entries in Dropdown" to Inventory Detail
Scenario
When setting up Inventory Detail in transactions, users may right away view the list of Inventory Numbers/Bin (or other details) in the dropdown list or a separate list pops up depending on the preference set in Home> Set Preferences > General > Maximum Entries in Dropdowns field.
Solution
In the Maximum Entries in Dropdowns field, users enter the maximum number of records that they want to appear in dropdown lists. When a list has reached that limit, the list will pop up in a window of its own. The highest number users can enter is 500.
See the illustration below:
The Maximum Entries in Dropdowns 10, and the user needs to populate Inventory Details, specifically Serial Numbers, for a transaction.
