NSC | How to add Customer Part Number to Customer Record?
Currently, the Customer Part Number can only be viewed from the Item record.
This behavior is logged and is being tracked under Enhancement 129199 Ability to cross reference Customer End User item numbers against item record number or MFG part number.
At this time, there is no documented workaround for this system limitation.
However, it is possible to set up a sublist on the Customer record that will list down all Customer Part Numbers for a specific Customer record. But please note that this will only allow Users to view and edit existing Customer Part Numbers and will not be able to add additional
