NSC | How to Add Weight Per Item in Sales Order and Item Fulfillment Transactions
Scenario: To confirm the weight per item in transaction records such as Sales Order or Item Fulfillment, customers would like to expose the Item Weight field. However, there is no standard way to show this field in transaction records.
Solution: Exposing the Item Weight field in Transactions is logged as an enhancement request under Enhancement # 20387 -Transactions> Display total weight of items on transactions
In the standard NetSuite Account, an Item Weight field is not available in Sales Order or Item Fulfillment records. But a custom field may be created for it. Otherwise, another option would be installing the Bill of Lading
