New to NetSuite | Pricing 104: Item Pricing
In our previous articles, we covered essential topics such as Price Levels, Quantity Pricing Schedules, and Pricing Groups. Now, we shift our focus to Item Pricing, a crucial aspect of ensuring accuracy and efficiency in your transactions within the NetSuite platform.
The main difference of this type of pricing, compared to the others we have already discussed, is that it tracks specific customer prices (absolute price) on customer records for specific items. This feature is especially useful in instances where you offer a certain type of discount to customers. For example, consider a scenario where a loyal customer consistently purchases large quantities of a particular product from your company. With this pricing model, you can assign a special discounted rate to that customer's account, reflecting their valuable patronage.
