NSC | Resolve Error: "Enter a Valid Location" in Manufacturing Mobile

Scenario

User encounters an error when opening the Manufacturing Mobile App.

Error message: "Enter a Valid Location"

Solution

This error is usually encountered when the location is a "sublocation".

To resolve the error, the location needs to be a parent location, or in other words, the parent location field in the location record should be blank.

There was previously an enhancement request logged for this functionality, but it was already closed since according to our engineers, sublocation/non-parent location would be difficult and nearly impossible to support in Manufacturing Mobile. Thus, this is currently a limitation within NetSuite.
