NSC | Subscription > Error: Accounting line type not specified transaction line XX with item XXX
Scenario
A user has created a Subscription that they want to add to a Sales Order. When saving the Sales Order with the Subscription, the user is encountering the error "Accounting line type not specified transaction line XX with item XXX".
Solution
This error could be due to the related Subscription Plan not having an Income Account selected. To resolve this, you may do the following steps:
- Open the affected Subscription and click on the Subscription Plan link
- Click Edit
- On the next screen, click on the 'Accounting' subtab.
- Find the 'Income Account' field and select the desired account
