NSC | CAUSES > Asset Depreciation is not updating any Asset Record during Stage 4 of the process
There are 7 stages that must be completed before an Depreciation can be generated.
If it fails on the 4th stage which is the Updating Asset Records, the most common cause is that there are Depreciation History Records (DHRs) under a Asset Type that have a blank Parent Asset Values field. This will also affect other Assets with correct and complete DHRs if they also share the same grouping.
Here are some other causes:
- User edited the DHR and clears the Parent Asset Value field
- User edited and/or clears the Asset field
- User unlinked a DHR from an Asset
Hope this helped!
