NSC | Bank Feeds > Why do I need to constantly rebuild the connection?
Accounts from financial institutions that support multifactor authentication (MFA) require additional verification to confirm your identity for login or transactions. These MFA accounts typically include those needing two-factor authentication (2FA) and one-time passwords. The duration for which your account's MFA token remains valid varies by financial institution. If the system identifies that your MFA token has expired or needs to be updated, the bank data import will not succeed and you will need to rebuild the connection.
After updating the MFA token, refer to this article to help rebuild the connection: NSC | Bank Feeds Import Fails > Basic troubleshooting and other factors to consider
