NSC | Fixed Asset > Default Alternate Depreciation
The automatic linking or creation of Alternate Depreciation under the Depreciation History tab of the Asset Record when adding a new subsidiary in the FAM Alternate Method is still not possible in the system. This is logged as an enhancement and is documented in Enhancement 359821 Fixed Asset>List>Asset>New> Alternate Methods are not linked to Asset Record if the Subsidiary is Newly Created.
However, here are 2 alternate methods:
- Manually add the Alternate Depreciation for already created assets
- For Assets that are still to be created:
- Navigate to Fixed Assets > Setup > Asset Types
- Click View on the Asset Type
