NSC | Journal Entry > Saved Search > To show Document Numbers and other fields
Scenario: The user wishes to retrieve a list of Journal Entries displaying the Document Number, Creation Date, Account, Posting Date, Debits, and Credits.
Solution:
- Navigate to Lists > Search > Saved Searches > New
- Select Transaction
- Add Search Title
- On the Criteria tab, add Type = Journal
- On the Results tab, we add the following fields:
- Document Number
- Date
- Date Created
- Account
- Amount (Debit)
- Amount (Credit)
- On the Available Filters tab, we add the following fields:
- Date
- Date Created
- Mark the Show in Filter Region checkbox
- Click Save and Run
