NSC | Negative Inventory Validation - Encountering An Error
Scenario:
A user installs the Enhanced Validation bundle to prevent negative inventory but encounters the following error message:
"An unexpected error occurred in a script running on this page."
Solution:
Although this may initially appear to be a script error, the issue is often related to the form being used. Ensure that you are using the standard form rather than a custom form.
The script may be referencing a field that exists on the standard form but is missing from the custom form. When the script cannot find this expected field, it triggers the error message. Switching to the standard form typically resolves the issue.
