NSC | CSV Import - Fields in Field Mapping Blank

Scenario:

A user is attempting a CSV Import, but the expected fields from the CSV file are not appearing on the Field Mapping page, preventing them from proceeding with the import.

Solution:

This happens when the system cannot recognize the fields that the user's put in the csv file.

To resolve this:

• Check for special characters in the header row or data, as these can interfere with field recognition.
• Avoid using Alt + Enter within cells, as this adds line breaks that can disrupt parsing.

Best Practice:
Ensure that the CSV file is clean and free from unnecessary special characters, extra spaces, or hidden formatting. This helps the system to accurately map fields during import.
