NSC | Missing Allow Per-Line Department/Classes Accounting Preference
When accessing Setup > Accounting > Accounting Preferences, the 'Allow Per-Line Department/Classes' option is missing, which is essential for categorizing transactions with multiple classes.
To resolve this, you'll need to enable the Department and Classes preference. Here's a step-by-step guide:
- Navigate to Setup > Company > Enable Features
- Click Company subtab
- Under Classifications, check the box for Departments and Classes
- Click Save
- Navigate to Setup > Accounting > Accounting Preference
- Under General Tab, go to Classifications subtab, Allow Per-Line Department/Classes will now appear.
After completing these steps, you should now see the 'Allow Per-Line Department/Classes' option in the Accounting Preferences. This will allow you to assign multiple department and classes to individual lines of transactions, providing more detailed categorization for your accounting records.
