NSC | Changing Preferred Stock Level Reverts Back to Old Value
Scenario:
The user is attempting to update the Preferred Stock Level on an item record, but it keeps reverting to its previous value, even though Auto-Calculate is turned off.
Solution:
This issue may occur due to background configuration settings not fully updating. You can use the following workaround to force the system to recognize and save the changes:
1. Temporarily Enable Advanced Item Location Configuration
- Navigate to Setup > Company > Enable Features > Items/Inventory
- Advanced Item Location Configuration = T
- Click Save
2. Edit Preferred Stock Leve in Item Record
- Under the Purchasing Inventory subtab > Scroll down to Location sublist
- Click Edit on affected
