Thank you to everyone for your passion, collaboration, and support. Here’s to building an even stronger community together in the year ahead!
Season’s greetings to you and yours! As we head into the holidays (December 24 – January 4), we want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible strength and collaboration within our community. Even during the break, you can continue to benefit from connecting with peers, searching related threads, posting your questions, and marking helpful replies as “Accepted” in the Support Community.
Please note our dedicated team will be on reduced coverage during this time, and regular responsiveness will resume on January 5. Wishing you a joyful and restful holiday season!

NSC | Item Fulfillment > Mark as Shipped > Unexpected Error
Scenario
User is unable to mark an item fulfillment as shipped because an unexpected error occurs during the process.
Cause
The error is typically caused by an invalid email address in the "To Be E-mailed" field on the associated sales order. An invalid email address may include:
- Incomplete formats, such as missing domain extensions (e.g., "support@netsuite instead of "support@netsuite.com").
- Extra characters or trailing spaces after the domain (e.g., "support@netsuite.com ").
This invalid data triggers the error when NetSuite attempts to process the "Mark Shipped" action on the item fulfillment.
Solution
To resolve this issue, you must update the invalid email address on the sales order. While editing the email address directly on the sales order might not be possible due to system restrictions or errors, you can use a CSV import as an effective workaround. Follow these steps:
