NSC | OneWorld Account: What Currency Is Used in the Item Record?
Scenario:
The user working in a OneWorld account wants to understand what currency is being used for various price-related fields on the item record, such as Average Cost, and Last Purchase Price. This is particularly important when managing items across multiple subsidiaries with different base currencies.
Solution:
In a OneWorld account, the currency displayed in key value fields on the item record is typically the Base Currency of the Root (Parent) Subsidiary. This applies to fields such as:
- Average Cost
- Last Purchase Price
- Total Value
These values are automatically converted using the consolidated exchange rates set up in the system.
