NSC | How to Remove Approval on Item Fulfillment?
Scenario:
The user notices that newly created Item Fulfillments are showing a status of "Pending Approval", even though their business process does not require an additional approval step. They want fulfillments to be immediately ready for processing or shipping without needing manual approval.
Solution:
This behavior is controlled by the Default Sales Order Status setting. If this is set to Pending Approval, then all Item Fulfillments created from those Sales Orders will also carry the approval requirement. To bypass this, you can update the default status so Sales Orders immediately move to a fulfillable state.
