NSC | Material Requirements Planning is Missing Demand for Kit Items
Scenario
When using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) in NetSuite, the demand for kit members is not appearing, even though it has worked correctly in the past.
Solution
To resolve the concern, see the following steps below:
- Open the affected sales order and edit the expected ship date of the kit, setting it to at least one month in the future.
- Save the changes.
- Refresh the planning repository to display the affected component.
Alternative Configuration (Optional):
- Navigate to Item Record > Purchasing/Inventory > Locations subtab > View.
- Change the view dropdown to Planning Times.
- For the relevant location, locate the Action column and click Edit.
