NSC | How to resolve Error when Disposing Asset
Scenario:
In the process of disposing assets, the user receives the following error:
Solution:
- Navigate to Customization > Scripting > Script Deployments
- On the Filters region, set all the filters to except-All- for the filter Script
- On the filter Script, select FAM Migrate to Precompute SS
- Click on Edit
- Set the following:
Status = Not Scheduled
Schedule = Single Event - Click Save and Execute
- Navigate to Fixed Assets > Background Processing > Status
- Wait for the Migrate to Depreciation Schedule process to finish
- On Global Search, look for FAM Asset Values
- Click Edit on the Asset/Assets involved
- Change the Net Book Value to 0.00 and then click
