NSC | Editing a Previous Reconciliation
Scenario:
A user needs to edit or redo a bank reconciliation for April 2025.
Note: Before proceeding, consult with your system Administrator to ensure this action aligns with your organization’s financial policies and does not conflict with other reconciliations or reporting requirements.
Attempting to open an earlier reconciliation will result in the following system message:
"You cannot enter a date earlier than the close date for the last reconciled statement. Enter a new date."
To work around this restriction, you can temporarily disable the "Match Bank Data and Reconcile Account Statement Pages" setting for the bank account, make your changes, and then re-enable the setting.
