NSC | How to Correct Asset Quantity
Scenario:
The user has identified several newly created Fixed Asset records that were entered with incorrect quantities. They would like to know how to properly correct these quantity errors within the system while ensuring the Asset Depreciation data is accurate and updated accordingly.
Solution:
To correct the asset quantities and ensure depreciation is recalculated appropriately, please follow the steps below:
Step 1: Update the Asset Quantity
- Navigate to the Asset Record for the item you wish to correct.
- Click Edit to enter edit mode.
- Go to the Maintenance tab.
- In the Quantity field, enter the correct number of assets.
- Click Save
