NSC | Bank Data Import Error: Account Mismatch
Scenario:
When attempting to import bank data, the user may encounters the following error message:
Error: "Bank data import failed. The bank import for one or more accounts failed due to the following error: The file could not be imported, because the account xxxxx in the file does not match an account in NetSuite. Please contact your administrator for assistance and refer to the failed imported statement: Internal ID ——."
This error typically occurs when the Account listed in the bank file does not correctly correspond to any linked account in NetSuite. The issue may be related to incorrect or outdated mappings in the
