NSC | Unable to Save Journal Entry after Editing
Scenario:
The user encounters an unexpected error when attempting to save changes to a Journal Entry. Despite having made valid modifications, the system prevents the update from being saved. One common cause of this issue is when the Subsidiary associated with an account in the Journal Entry transaction line has been modified, making it incompatible with the transaction's current configuration. This mismatch between the account’s subsidiary and the transaction’s subsidiary can lead to system-level errors during the save process.
Take note that when the account's subsidiary is changed—either by editing the account record or replacing it in the transaction line—it may no longer align with the subsidiary set on the Journal Entry itself. This conflict can trigger an error and prevent the record from being saved.
