NSC | User Unable to Edit Certain Fields on Fixed Asset Records When Using a Custom Role
Scenario:
The user is attempting to edit specific fields on a Fixed Asset record while logged in with a custom role. Although the role appears to have the necessary permissions assigned and the form configuration allows field editing, the user is still unable to make changes to some fields.
This behavior can be confusing, as it suggests a permissions or form configuration issue; however, both appear to be correctly set.
Solution:
In NetSuite Fixed Assets Management, certain role-based access settings are controlled through an additional configuration area outside of standard role permissions or form customizations. Specifically, the issue may occur if the custom role being used by the user is
