Thank you to everyone for your passion, collaboration, and support. Here’s to building an even stronger community together in the year ahead!
Season’s greetings to you and yours! As we head into the holidays (December 24 – January 4), we want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible strength and collaboration within our community. Even during the break, you can continue to benefit from connecting with peers, searching related threads, posting your questions, and marking helpful replies as “Accepted” in the Support Community.
Please note our dedicated team will be on reduced coverage during this time, and regular responsiveness will resume on January 5. Wishing you a joyful and restful holiday season!

NSC | Troubleshooting 'Price Level' Field Access Issues in NetSuite
Scenario:
A user with the Administrator role encountered an issue where the "Price Level" field on a Customer record appeared as read-only and could not be edited. This was unexpected, as administrators typically have full permissions across all standard records and fields in NetSuite.
Upon investigation, it became clear that the issue was not related to role permissions, but instead due to the form configuration applied to the Customer record. In NetSuite, even users with high-level access can be restricted from editing specific fields if the custom form in use is configured to display certain fields as "Inline Text" (read-only). This kind of configuration can inadvertently limit functionality for users who would otherwise be authorized to make changes.
