NSC | Enter Work Order Completion > Permission Violation
Scenario
As an administrator in NetSuite, you are attempting to create a Work Order Completion. However, when you try to save it, you receive the following error message:
- "Permission Violation: You need the 'Transactions -> Work Order Completion' permission to access this page."
This error is unexpected since the Admin role typically grants extensive permissions. In this case, however, the Admin role lacks the specific 'Transactions -> Work Order Completion' permission required to complete this action.
Solution
To fix this issue, you must add the 'Work Order Completion' permission to the NetSuite Connector Web Services role, a custom role often used for web services integration. Follow these steps:
