NSC | Resolve Error: "Cannot read property "original_price" from undefined" > Price Revert Failed

edited Aug 22, 2025 9:52PM in Accounting / ERP

Scenario:

User is getting a Price Revert Failed error: "Cannot read property "original_price" from undefined" when performing Customer Price Update using the Effective Date Pricing.

Solution:

The reason why users are getting the error is because in the Customer Record, under Financial tab > Item Pricing subtab, there are no information as to the item, currency and unit price that needs to be updated.

Here are the steps users can do to resolve the error:

  1. Under Financial tab > Item Pricing subtab, add the following:
    1. Item
    2. Price Level
    3. Currency
    4. Unit Price
  2. Then click Save.
  3. Run a customer price update for the same customer, item and currency.
