SuiteQL Syntax for Advanced Queries goes beyond simple selections and joins to deliver robust, flexible, and analytical queries within database. SuiteQL’s capabilities are similar to standard SQL (with some NetSuite-specific constraints). One of these advanced features is ORDER BY.

The ORDER BY clause in SuiteQL lets you sort your query results based on one or more fields, in ascending (ASC) or descending (DESC) order. This is especially useful for reporting, dashboards, and highlighting key business metrics (top sales reps, recent transactions, largest orders).
