NSC | Saved Search Email Alerts Not Triggering for Shipped Item Fulfillments

Scenario:
The user wanted to send email alerts to internal recipients whenever specific Item Fulfillment records were updated to Shipped status. Although multiple saved search configurations were tested, the email notifications were not being triggered.

Solution:
This issue can occur when the NetSuite email preference for Web Services and CSV Import generated records is disabled.

To enable email alerts for Item Fulfillments created or updated via integration:

  1. Navigate to:
Setup > Company > Email Preferences
  2. Enable the preference:
ENABLE EMAIL ALERTS FOR WS AND CSV IMPORTS
  3. Open the Item Fulfillment Saved Search.
  4. Under Criteria > Standard, add the filter:
    • Source = Any of:
      • Web Services

Howdy, Stranger!
