NSC | Items Not Appearing in Create Inventory Count
Scenario:
The user was unable to see any items when creating an Inventory Count, even after selecting the subsidiary, location, and date range and enabling the Inventory Counting feature. The user also could not locate the Next Count Date field on either the Location record or the Item record.
Solution:
For items to appear in the Create Inventory Count process, inventory count scheduling information must first be configured on the item records.
To configure inventory counting properly:
- Set up the Count Classification for inventory items.
- Count classifications are typically based on item value or inventory importance.
- High-value items are counted more frequently.
