NSC | Inventory Valuation Report Missing Items Due to Report Row Limitations
Scenario:
The user noticed that some inventory items were missing from the Inventory Valuation Report when running the report across all inventory. However, when filtering specifically for the missing items, the data appeared correctly. Attempts to use broader filters, such as merchandise hierarchy filters, resulted in report timeouts due to the large transaction volume.
Solution:
This behavior is typically caused by NetSuite report row limitations rather than missing inventory data.
If the items appear when filtered individually, it indicates that the inventory records are still included in the system but are not fully displayed because the report results exceed NetSuite’s maximum row limits.
