Cost of goods sold by Sales Orders/Invoice

edited Jun 2, 2025 2:25PM in Ask A Guru 9 comments

Hi Gurus,

I am trying to source the total amount of the applying transaction by using the saved search.

Scenario 1: Getting Cost of goods sold by Sales Orders

My Saved search:

  • Criteria: Type = Sales Order
  • Result: Document Number, Item, Quantity, Amount (Gross), Applying Transaction: Amount

=> The applying transaction with type Item fulfillment doesn't show the value

Scenario 2: Getting Cost of goods sold by Invoice

My Saved search:

  • Criteria: Type = Invoice
  • Result: Document Number, Item, Quantity, Amount (Gross), Applying Transaction: Amount

=> The applying transaction doesn't have type Item fulfillment (I click Bill button on Item fulfillment to create Invoice)

Could anyone suggest any help on how to reach COGS (Item fulfillment) from Sales Order and Invoice?

Howdy, Stranger!
