How to utilize outsourced manufacturing with drop ship assembly?

we have dropship item for outsourced manufacturing, when we create the sales order for it, it creates one PO but it doesn't create PO for the "outsourced Item", so we need to create a separate PO for that is that normal?

does system needs two PO one system generated one manual for outsourced drop ship.

when I clicked on Create PO, it only created PO for the assembly item not for the outsourced

I had to click create PO, then it created PO 4429
