How to create recurring Purchase Order?

We are arranging for a monthly order with some of our supplier (i.e same items and quantities ordered every month).

The vendor has asked for a Purchase Order that they can use every month to send us the items (it would be the same purchase order number). Is there a way to reopen a PO once goods have been received? Or what would be the best way to deal with this?
