NSC | How to Create a Report or Saved Search of Transactions Affecting the Average Cost of an Item

Scenario: There are instances when users  need to create a report or saved search to show any transactions that affect the average cost of an item.

Solution: NetSuite has a standard report, Inventory Valuation Detail Report, which shows the transactions affecting the value of the inventory. This lists transactions that affect inventory assets and may be useful for troubleshooting costing problems. To generate this report, navigate to Reports Inventory/Items Inventory Valuation Detail.

Another option would be to create a Saved Search to show the affecting transactions. Let's say, for example, users need to identify those transactions which have 0 value and causes the average cost of the items to be incorrect. To do this,
