How to set a field value on a Sales Order if an Invoice is created?

Hi

Is it possible to set a field value on a sales order if the user presses the native 'bill' button on the sales order and creates an invoice?

I am able to do this with a record transform action on a workflow


Though I was wondering if there is a way to do this when the user creates an invoice from a sales order through the UI?
