Salesforce CPQ with MDQ - Yearly Segments
We run SF CPQ and leverage CPQs MDQ. This creates a lot of extra lines on the quotes and orders in Salesforce. For example a line item will have one record for each year of the term (e.g. a 5year quote term will have 5 lines for one product. One line for each year. This allows us to easily apply annual price increases. As a result each line has a start and end date.
What's the best way to handle these type of orders in NetSuite for billing? We intend to use Suitebilling.
In Salesforce we create quote/quote lines —> order / order items —> contract / subscriptions.
