Drop Ship PO with FedEx Ground as Ship Method

Scenario - on one Sales Order we will fulfill from our warehouse and have drop ship PO. When we mark the DSPO as fulfilled, the Item Fulfillment requires the weight to be populated and the Integrated Shipping Label defaults to true.

Beyond writing a script to populate the weight = 1 and uncheck the Integrated Shipping Label, can you suggest other solutions?

ps: We could to create another shipping method for us on DSPO's only. Rather not do this.
