How do I include Sales Order information in the survey response when sending a NetSuite online surve

edited Jan 14, 2026 7:44PM in Ask A Guru 2 comments

I’m automating survey sending in NetSuite using a workflow and email. My goal is to have survey responses tied back to a specific Sales Order (not just the customer), so that I can report on what was ordered at the time the survey was submitted.

Is it possible to include the Sales Order internal ID as a parameter in the survey link sent from a NetSuite workflow email?

I’ve tried including customer field, so when the survey is submitted, I can capture the internal ID, name, or email of the respondent without requiring them to manually fill in those fields. However, I haven’t been able to get this working and can’t figure out how to pass that data through successfully.
