If all you select in Criteria, "Item On Any Line" = your Kit, do you still only see Fulfillments? If yes, then there is definitely a bug there.
-
When I get that error, I do the mass update and criteria should be Item on any line = "your kit number" Type = Sales order Status = Sales Order:Pending Fulfillment (might include partially fulfilled) That should bring up a list that includes your sales order, process update
-
I just turned off emails for all and hope they show in connection stream.. I will let you know. Thanks for the help

You actually want the "Receive Order" permission. Item Receipt lets you look at the Item Receipt record.
-
Another option is to load the free NetSuite Supply Chain bundle (47193). One of the pieces of functionality is the "Customer Part Number" table which then flows to the Sales Order/Fulfillment/Invoice. You can then use their field custcol_scm_customerpartnumber on your forms.
-
The ONLY way to lock a record is via Workflow. The brute force method is to go to the Active Workflow tab under system notes and End the Workflow from there.
-
Martha, When we receive and bill Purchase Orders, our lines do not "close". Possibly a workflow?
-
The status would not be Closed, the status would be Fully Billed on the Purchase Order
-
Chris, Thanks. Will give that a try. Trying to create the dashboard as a subtab on the item and may run faster. Only need 1 years worth of data so should run faster
-
Chris, Thanks. Yes, Item Fulfillments would be my preferred but we are looking for future demand so I am forced to work off Sales Orders and use the Ship Date field.
-
If you go to: Support -> Support Overview -> NetSuite Account Center Click on See All Transactions Go to the earliest and that Invoice should have all the information you are looking for.
-
Tybrneryan Exactly. I wish derived, non-stored fields were available to be either sourced from on transaction or available with results on saved search, but unfortunately they are not.
-
I created a custom field based on a saved search to calculate the cost using the method above. I then have another Custom Field (I call KIT BOM Cost Stored - yes our company also calls Assemblies Kits-Habits hard to change) and have a Workflow to Set Field value of the non stored BOM Cost into the Stored Version. Since our…

I believe it is because the Inventory Adjustment account is also being used as the Variance accounts which are not really Inventory Adjustments (more like financial clearing accounts as they are tracking differences like between ordered and received)
-
It sounds like you are trying to specify the account when creating the item? The account you use on the Inventory Adjustment record cannot be the same as the Asset account of the item you are adjusting. Typically you would have an inventory account specified on the item (for example we use 10300-Inventory) and then another…

I see what they are doing but might have to go scripting route. My results (for example) returns 20 records. I am trying to generate labels so in this case I am looking to get 20 labels in a single PDF (instead of 20 individual emails with a 1 page PDF)
-
Thanks, I will check it out. My search is not grouped so I am hoping I can make it work without scripting.
-
Instead of Location (which only applies to the Sales Order) also use the Item Join: Inventory Location=your B2B location Then on the results use Location OnHand and Location Backordered.
-
Another option you have 1) For orders to be fulfilled by the 3PL, create a new Sales Order form and assign that custom form to those sales orders 2) On that Sales Order Form, specify the new pick ticket form. We have a similar situation where, via workflow, when a sales order is saved, (on Before Submit), we change the…
-
Ah, that is the hard part, Because you can have multiple Fulfillments on an invoice. You could try a Sales Order search and use either Applied To or Applying Transaction (I can never remember which) to try to get a single view.
-
If you just want Item Fulfillments, create a transaction search Criteria Type = Item Fulfillment Posting = True Date range if needed Results Item Quantity Amount Account Should help you in your quest
-
We use an "Other Charge for Purchase" item that points to a Labor GL Account. When we Build a Work Order, our Labor Expense is credited and the inventory value is Debited
-
You can run an Inventory Activity report and add the columns for Unit Price and Amount to see what transaction caused the inventory average cost to go to zero. "Usually" one of 2 things 1) it is an Inventory Adjustment from zero to a positive quantity with no cost 2) An item fulfillment was done prior to the inventory…
-
I would just create one "Unit of Measure" Base Unit = Each Pallet 2500 = 2500 Pallet 5000 = 5000 etc. ONLY problem with this is that once selected, I believe the other units are available in certain transactional drop downs.
-
Yes they are and in many cases, NetSuite has already joined many of the common obvious joins (on transaction, the Item Join is already made and the fields available) Also, because they changed the way you see and access the database, the Accounting level fields is an additional join as well as the Line Level (mainline=N)…
-
Unfortunately they are specifying hundreds of lines of invoices they are paying (most under $100) and 1 monster credit memo for $10k. If I import all the invoices they list many of them are actually paid by the credit memo and not the check.
-
Paul, You CAN actually change the Sales/Stock/Purchase Units to any valid one that exists on the Base Unit record. If what you are trying to do is set to "eaches" you should be able to set all the Units (Sales/Stock/Purchase) to the first specified with a conversion of 1. NOTE: if your Stock unit is different that the…

I believe you need Advanced Order Management to be able to turn on Automatic Location Assignment as well as Regions
