HI, it shows up in income statement but it doesn't show any value for work orders, it shows values for sales order/purchase orders etc. but not for work orders.

we want to see the custom segment on the work order header (not line) and carry over that to work order completion and work order close. thank you for your assitance.

1) I did make sure atleast view access for custom role, but even for Admin role ( the role that created the custom segment) cannot see it. 2) yes it is applied to all transactions (including Work order)

I Agree with @John Griffin, it makes it easy to search, I would name - BOM,BOM rev and router all same as assembly.

@User_SZ0C3, do you use multi language in NetSuite? if yes, you can change your language preference in Home> Set Preference.

Yeah that is the desired behavior, I am just trying to populate whatever is in original ship date field to be populated in Expected ship date field.

hmm it might work on the search but it gives me error on the transaction itself. more than two different user told me so it's not cache or computer issue, maybe I need to create this field and make it "hidden" display type.

That doesn't make sense. {line} gives me error {line Number} doesn't, but I will need that field on the saved search in order to update the transaction in the future, that is the whole purpose of creating the custom field.
