Got it. I couldn't find the missing info in the help documents, but I got it from NS support. I had the parter created and the promotional URL specifically made for that partner, but couldn't get it to work. This missing piece was... Create a Partner Sales Rule: Go to Set up > Sales >Sales Rules > New Click on Partner Name…

We would like to be able to "uncancel" a cancelled order. Has anything changed in this regard since 2011? We can't just easily make a duplicate of the canceled order in NS because the order came in through amazon via a connector and making a duplicate would break the link to the original amazon order. Also, is there a way…

I would opt for a NO MUSIC option + an estimated hold time that is re-estimated every 10 or 15 minutes.
-
You could just note the "hold until..." in the "Memo" area on the sales order (also called "confirmation number" field depending on what view you are in) and then leave it unapproved. Then enter a new "task" with a "browser pop-up" or email reminder that says "approve sales order number..." and set it for the date that the…

I have been on (and contribute to) a number of threads that have the common theme of looking to drive more traffic/business to our (most NS customers) sites and stores. You are probably sick of reading them. Knowledge base this, blog that, sitemap the other, keyword grumbles etc. I am sure we all agree that one of…

Baruch Goldwasser Wrote: Two search engine enhancements we have on the roadmap are Google Sitemaps (notifies Google about site changes) and an easy to publish site map (a page that links to every page on your site, thereby making it easier for the search engine to find all your pages). Will these sitmaps have all needed…

I just gave up after holding for over an hour. That always makes me mad. NS, what about a support system that is 1/2 email and 1/2 phone. We initiate the case via email or online form (like we already can for cases that are answered by email). NS researches the issue and then calls when ready to discuss. Then we don't hold…

Bump. Can this now be done? We can see sales by matrix as part of the standard sales report, but not with any detail in the grid (like a column for internal ID of the matrix parent). If we add an internal ID column, it only shows it for the child items. -Tom

I created a custom body field for SO transactions (called "year and month") and it uses this formula .... to_char({trandate},'YYYY MM') I then did a summary transaction search filtered to the last 20 months and filtered to one specific item, group by the custom "year and month" field, count of ref. no, order by custom…
-
I was just trying to show another person here how to use the "saved transaction search". One issue that confuses the heck out of people (IMHO) is the incomplete and/or ever changing field names. Like, in this instance, we had "Number" and "Amount" in the results tab. What amount? What Number? Is it the sales order number…

At first I didn't know if you were saying that I should use the summary area in the results tab OR the summary area in the criteria tab. Then I figured out that it was the results tab. I was confused and looked in both areas because I didn't see a "ref. no" field in either summary area's list of fields. It appears to be…

A bar graph would be fine. Your brief description sounds arduous. Can you elaborate? T

We would use this feature as a quick way to see how changes in marketing or pricing has affected any item's sales. Another cool feature would be if the dashboard gave us a sales graph with vertical lines marking where any price changes occurred and/or where any marketing campaigns occurred. NS has all of the data in it's…

bump Still thinking this would be useful and faster than generating new reports for each item

I'm not familiar with what is possible with widgets. Can you describe the possibilities and the limitations of widgets? I also like the idea of a product review system. The ability to set-up drip marketing without scripting would be useful. I have more ideas, but I need to know the answer to the first question before I can…

I noticed on a recent order that a $5 item cost $9 to ship. I did some testing and the same item cost about $6 to ship when changed to a business address. So, it was about a 33% decrease in shipping cost when changing from Residential to Business for the address type. So, NetSuite won't let our customers pick the delivery…

hey... so there are still issues producing trend graphs then? I had actually already read the other post, and i agree that the trend graphs should show a rolling 10 months (if 10 has been selected) otherwise it really isn't showing any kind of 'trend' for the first few months. Amen Brother!! They are worthless as designed…

That isn't the only thing broken about graphs with a "trend line". https://usergroup.netsuite.com/users/showthread.php?t=2257

I would vote for fixing the trend graphs (if using more resources) before adding more custom KPI Reports. At least you have a work-around for more custom KPI Reports (split them up between rolls). T

SuitePromotions ... NOT supported on Site Builder. Ugh. NetSuite
-
NetSuite essentially says it is our fault. They say they don't see the error happening in their non-customized checkout. We had a developer do pretty standard things to our checkout. like, add Google Analytics tracking info for each order and making a "customer comments" field in the checkout. My developer says he needs…

> replace the Sitebuilder checkout with a custom cart (relatively easy with Commerce API) So, one can make a reference chckout alterantive from scratch! Are you aware of any 3rd party providers already making a pre-designed "ready to go" NS alternative checkout that is compatable with a SiteBuilder Site? -Tom

Failing on kit items isn't a defect. It is "by design". Enhancement # - 289344 Summary: Advanced Promotions > Item Specific Free Shipping > support all item types

Case # 3339457

a bit off topic, but server response time for NetSuite has been slow for the past decade. When will this get addressed? See average result from Pingdom for our NetSuite site. Google can lower it's ranking for any site due to a slow response time. This has nothing to do with image sizes. According to Google, it should be at…

When placing any order on either the reference, this error appears immediately: https://checkout.OURdomain.com/Checkout205/services/live-order.ss&t=1550853714899?c=XXXXXX&n=1404 (Not Found) Where XXXXXX is our NetSuite account number. Something was changed in v2019.1 and it is now adding the &t=15508.... in front of the…

Another one we considered was roi-revolution. Their cost is 4x some of the others. We used Logical Position and they're just ok. We used Sales & Orders and they're just ok. I think I'm going to give Sidecar a shot. Each has things they show you that only they can do. Each seems to lay off your account after the initial…
